yeah, but its VERY uncommon as far as what ive seen.

It used to be common in boxing, but doctors found a way to drain the blood out of the ear about 20 years ago to prevent it.

That ear thing happens in UFC because of wrestling. While wrestling you get strangled a lot and not enough air goes through your ears causing them to turn like that.

i know why it happens. thats just one of the reasons i wouldnt really consider taking up any grappling or wrestling.
