His one knock is that he relies very heavily on his natural talent. ****... even Roy had his hands highr than Gamboa does. Not that it matters now.. but in a later stage it could bite him in the ass.

    Alright, I'll youtube him.

You sound like me assessing Gamboa. I agree completely he is relying on his natural talent a bit to much. Once his reflexes slow a bit it could definitely be a problem. Keep in mind Gamboa is about 26 right now and he won't be getting any younger.

Great minds... (you know the saying).

At least he aint wasting time with his career's progression. He will probably challenge for a belt sometime this year.

well gamboa won a gold medal in the olympics. But given his age, he should do one fight a month and step on it. ^_^.

I think hes pretty smart, and once opposition gets better he will keep his hands up high. Or he will get even more ****y. But i bet he kept his hands high in the olympics.

His weight at the olympics was 51 kg -_-... given his current frame, that mustve looked different.

right now he is 130 lbs, 59 kg. And he is still very fast.

Anyone found footage of him fighting in olympics :S?

He would put the works on anyone in the SFW division. He reminds me of Floyd in that he already had the skill to take the belt even from ther beginning bouts, all that's needed now is the ring experience.

Ward had an outstanding amateur career that ended with a gold medal in Olympics. He has HOF type talent.
