Well that was uncalled for. I can agree to an extent but I believe Floyd won't take ANY fight unless he can line his pockets with green. That being said he will fight ANYONE, no matter how dangerous if it can get him paid.

Giving accurate criticism & hating on someone are 2 different things. For example Roy Jones is 1 of the greatest champions of all time. He captured a silver medal in the 88 olympics. He went like 50 pro fights without really losing. He became the 1st man in 100 yrs to win a legitimate MW & HW title. He beat future HOFs James Toney & Bernard Hopkins along the way. So if someone says that he never fought anyone & he was overrated they are clearly just trying to discredit his accomplishments which = HATER

Hater: A individual that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.

Nuthugger: An individual who worships another individual; mark, fanboy/fangirl. They will go to any lengths to emphasise what they consider to be the flawless perfection of their obsession.

A lot of the times it's just the fact that the person has no clue what they are talking about in the first place.
If you are fighting top 10 fighters even top 20 you are fighting someone who earned that place based on skill or accomplishment or the IBF J/k .

For me the word Hater is the last refuge of an imbecile in total cognitive surrender. It's a Get Out of Jail Free card for somebody without a coherent point, and a means of opting out of an argument they are losing without looking like they've given up.

Example:

A: Baldomir was the best choice of opponent for Floyd because he was the linear champion, he had the belts, he beat the man to become the man, but let's be honest, he's not the best at the weight, he's not the toughest fight and in all honesty don't you think a fight with Margarito would have been more entertaining?

No, see, I think the mythical "hater" is alive and well on this forum. Let me provide a definition, in my eyes, and then an example..

Hater: One who is determined to criticize a boxer despite logic, reason, or any intelligent findings that require you give the boxer credit for some achievement; even if you are not a fan of said boxer.

Ex.

Hater: Damm, I can't wait until that loud mouthed, little piece of **** talking Gayweather is knocked out by Hatton. Did you see how strong Hatton looks? He's pumped. Nobody could escape the Hitman on the 8th. Nobody.

Objective poster: Wow, so, uh...Hatton got knocked out. Good job, Floyd. Hopefully you always fight with that type of excitement from now on.

Hater: **** that. He only won because Hatton is smaller than him. Why doesn't Floyd stop fighting little guys and take on a a REAL WELTERWEIGHT in Miguel Cotto, huh?!!?

Objective Poster: Yeah, the Cotto fight would be crazy but...you were really talking about Hatton being a beast before the fight. You should probably give Floyd some credit for knocking him out. It was a good performance.

That guy is the most biased poster I've seen on ESB, it's not funny.That's why I don't take anything he says seriously..Biased, biased , biased.
In fact I won't take anybody seriously who has a fighter's name as their nik.
It's hard for guys like that to give you unbiased , neutral comments.
Give credit where it's due, otherwise don't waste our time.
