i too think he is very over rated, people yawn on about the would be atgs he has beat, tito oscar and such, these wins are worthless imo as hopkins is a natural light heavy, and this sort of size advantage cannot be viewed favourable.


Now the ppl that put hopkins away ahead of calzaghe and favour him in a fight between the two, cant in the right frame of mind not see calzaghe destroying tito and oscar, in fact calzaghe would get major stick if he had even tried to fight them, these would be classed as joke fights, yet ppl wax lyrical about hopkins wins over them. not impressed tbh.

As for hopkins being classed the light heavy champ, this is even more funny, since taking the title from tarver he has only fought a former light middle. This to me proves the ring belt to be a joke, yet some still class him the lhw champ.


If calzaghe and hopkins do fight and hopkins bests him, i will give him his due, untill then i cant see a fighter who's best wins are over great fighters from lower divisions ( tarver excluded )

The fans of X fighter talk mad **** on X fighter's opponent, and then after X fighter wins, they change their tune and say that X fighter's defeated opponent is an ATG, so X fighter looks better.

Why not just save it, and concentrate on the positive of Hopkins's career if you are a Calzaghe fan?

And yes, I know very well that no one picked Calzaghe over Lacy. The ratio between how big of an underdog Calzaghe was compared to how big of an assbeating he put on Lacy is unmatched by anything that has ever happened in the sport I believe.

Mikkel Kessler is going to be great at 168 after Calzaghe packs it. I have a lot of respect of Joe, but it does bother me, because there were quite a few threads about how Kessler ****** before Joe beat him.
