Who is better at hitting and not being hit?

Okay... the reason I made this thread is because a lot of people picked Spinks to beat Cotto at 147...
Yet by shutout right now, everyone agrees that Mayweather is better at Spink's game.
Anyone care to explain?Comment

Well, call me crazy, but I think Spinks is pretty one-dimensional. Box and move. Box and move. Box and move, or hit and not get hit.
Yet, Mayweather is better than Spinks at Spinks's bread and butter game, at least according to the poll.
It was supposed to be a fantasy matchup by the way.
I just thought it was strange. Can anyone educate me on how Cory fights if it is not just boxing and moving?Comment

He is one dimensional you are right. No inside skills and not a very good combination puncher.
I guess people think he could cause problems to Cotto because of his incredibly awkward and negative style. And the fact that he is a southpaw.
It's alot different fighting Spinks than fighting Judah. Judah will stand there and explode on their. He tries to hurt you.
Spinks wants no part with that. He is always on his toes and on the backfoot.Comment

I don't think Floyd would've handled Jermain Taylor like Spinks did. Spinks-Judah I&II were more entertaining than Mayweather-Judah(Excluding the brawl).Comment

That's because Judah could push the fight against no power Cory Spinks.
Judah was actually doing a lot of running after the 6th round or so against Mayweather. Mayweather was the one coming forward.
If Taylor fought Mayweather like he fought Spinks, he would have lost. God he fought a ****** fight against him.Comment
