Denis Boytsov?

Does anyone have the lowdown on this kid?
He was making waves but has fallen off the radar recently.
If I remember rightly he was Youth WBC Heavyweight Champ and had a decent KO win Ratio.
He is a Russian fighting out of Germany.
Just wondered why he hasn't fought in a while.
Any news appreciated.

I think he won't make a splash on the world scene for a while yet. He has a lot of fights, but he's young and he hasn't had the right pedigree.

With his stature (very small HW) I think he'd be better off with an American trainer and fighting over here.

I just resorted to checking Boxrec and he just fought last month and won by 1st round KO against another nobody from Brazil.
As a kid he had spinal problems due to his dad making him do hard physical exercise too young apparently and this still gives him problems so I heard.
He was quite small to start with but he has started to fill out now.
He was around 205 but has grown to 218 for his last 2 fights.
Only 21 as well so I guess he may still mature some more.He had a very good amateur record as well.
I like his style , he is a pressure fighter and has some nasty hooks to the body.

I agree on all acounts; but the news on him has been so sparse, it's hard to stay excited. There hasn't even been a rumor about putting him in with someone good.

I think he needs a different trainer he is to stand up for his height. He needs more upper body movement he is young so there is time for him to learn.
