Valero has not demonstrated his power against real competition. Manny has.

You think Pac hits harder than Valero, Hatton, and Sergio?

I think Valero might have more raw power than Pac, but Pac puts his punches together better and has more skill.

Pac knocked Marquez down with single punches. A world class fighter.

Edwin valero is overrated, thats the impresion i got when i watched him fight, mainly because he has a shocking defence, he cant be serious about getting in the ring with a guy like pacquaio, cos valero cant defend straight punches, he wouldnt be going the full 12.

Valero might be overrated, sure, but I know power is power. You can't teach concussive, concious ending punching ability like he's shown. Maybe the opponents are garbage, but still, every fighter with power first displays it the way he is. So, at this point, I'd like to say:

                1.) Valero
                2.) Pacquiao
                3.) Hatton
                4.) Mora

He's shown me he can be hurt too, in the fight i saw the guy knocked him down, and had him in trouble several times, Valero can hit, but that defence is begging for a knockout punch, if was him, i wouldnt go anywhere near a guy like pacquaio or Guzman or Marquez.

This thread is not about his overall skill in any way. I'm not saying Valero is the complete package, has great defense or anything else- this is list based solely on power. I agree he seems to be flawed, but he also seems to have lightning in his fists.
