aside from the 2nd round knockdown and the minute that followed Pavlik won every minute of every round. Christ he landed 43 shots in the first round.

I think its fair to say that the fight was very one sided, and no matter what the catchweight is Taylor looks small next to pavlik

    Pavlik TKO6

**** I am routing for Pavlik, but I dunno after watching the fight so many times how you can make that assessment. Taylor was constantly nailing Pavlik in those early rounds. Enough to knock the dude down, then stumble his a$$ again I still think Pav will win rematch but won't be surprised if Taylor gets a surprise KO. He's decently powerful and very quick. Jermaine will be fighting for his career in the rematch too, so he will be fiercer then ever. If Pav ups his defense a lil bit thou, I'm still picking Pav.

Can't see how Taylor is a good chance? Mate, Taylor was one more big right hand away from beating Pavlik in the first fight. That enough says hes in with a good chance. Plus you look at his record and its impressive. And then you think, hes gonna be angry about his first loss and if he agreed to a rematch he is confident he can beat Pavlik. Thus, hes in with a good chance.

In my books Kelly is favourite. But Jermain is in with a good chance of revenge.

I agree that he'll whoop Taylor. But let's be fair: Jermain showed that he can hurt Pavlik. So there's always chance. I got my imaginary points on Kelly again, though.

Taylor did look like a windmill in that match. He tried every trick in the book (elbows, low blows) to take Pavlik out but just couldn't. Now he knows what he is facing against and I'm not sure if he wants to brawl another time.

But I think brawling it out with Pavlik to try to back him up is his best chance.

The truth of the matter is, Taylor DID NOT HIT Pavlik flush AT ALL outside of round 2. Thats really amazing for a guy that apparently has no defense

He did pick off Taylor's blows very well with his gloves old school style.

I feel he got a little too overconfident in that second round, was he trying to show off or something when he went down? It seemed like that.
He got up in like one second and held on pretty well. Pavlik was on spaghetti legs though he was staggering around but he wasn't badly hurt.

If Jermain trains his ass off he has a good chance. I don't know what gameplan they're gonna have. Jermain can hurt Pavlik but I wouldn't want a slugfest. Unless Jermain's jab is revived and he creates some kind of defense I don't see him outboxing Pavlik any kind of way.

Anyone wanna put come points up for this? I've got Taylor winning, no idea why, just like the thought of under dogs winning.

I'm sticking by my prediction that Pavlik will KO Taylor easier this time.

I couldn't believe the judges had Taylor ahead by that many points at the point of the stoppage. Taylor thought he was losing and Pavlik thought he was winning so I guess it's true that Taylor can't lose a decision.

Taylor didn't really hit Pavlik flush except in the 2nd round when he knocked Pavlik down and I think that Pavlik was dropping his hands and trying to taunt Taylor thus causing him to get hit. Apart from that, Pavlik was blocking a lot of Taylor's shots with his gloves so his defense isn't all that bad.
