Haye: "Maccarinelli is Tailor-Made For Me"

WBC/WBA champ David Haye (20-1, 19KOs) has hit back at WBO cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli (28-1, 21KOs). During a recent interview with IC Wales, Macca vowed to smash Haye to the floor when the two champions come together to unify their titles on March 8. [details]

I love Hayes honesty about his chin. Most fighters dont mention it if they have weak chins, cos they dont want to draw too much attnetion to it. Karma for Haye.
But its funny how both Haye and Enzo think each other is made for each other. BOth very confident. I dont know if that is a pretence on both parties because i thought getting in the ring was scary when the other guy can hurt you. Tyson used to cry didnt he?

i wonder if hayes chin will improve slightly when he moves up to heavyweight?? he's been weight drained and that can affect your chin, but i guess he'll be taking bigger shots from bigger guys so it'll be proportional

Is it me or is this fight shaping up as a can't miss fight? These guys are gonna make a serious scrap out of their encounter. It's too bad American audiences couldn't care less.

I think David Haye's right. I expect David Haye to win by KO.

This is the biggest all-British fight since the Eubank-Benn era. This fight is huge over here.

I wouldn't say huge, but yeah I can't think of a bigger fight since then, mainly due to the fact we aint had two world champions in the same weight catagory. I hope this fight gets the exposure it deserves.

              Haye KO round 1-12 lol

Is Haye going to fight Maccarinelli now that Rahman pulled out of the fight?
Or is this just meaningless trash-talk?

That is Hayes idea that his chin will be better, but i dont really know really. I think if the hard hitters hit Haye he will stay hit imo.
