I don't care how well Emanny did with Lewis...

Every time I hear him, he is always changing predictions or acting as if he knew something in a fight would turn out the way it did.

He changes his commentary based on what is obviously happening in the fight.

Stuff like "Hatton is so much different and quicker than Floyd's recent opponents. Hatton will be applying a lot of pressure that Floyd isn't used to and I would even possibly say Hatton would win"

    come fight night

"Hatton is applying a lot of pressure and has Floyd off balance."

near the end and after the fight

"The weight was a big factor and Floyd was just so much bigger. I am not surprised and this was just another victory for Floyd. Floyd needs to fight one of the bigger TRUE WWs"

It gets kind of annoying. He'd be the first to say "I would favor Williams to beat Floyd due to size and styles". Then come a Mayweather victory, "Williams is tall with long arms yes, but all he did was beat Margarito in a close fight and really doesn't have the experience Floyd has. Floyd NEEDS to fight someone who is a bit more coordinated with more experience"

And not just with Mayweather fights.

I like him, but it seems as if he just tries to make himself look good.

steward obviosly knows the sport inside out but ive always struggled to understand how he was so succesful, everytime ive heard the guy talk/commentate its usually ****, i mean what world class trainer would allow a rotation system (two different coaches working the corner alternate rounds) as what happened in the hamed v barrera fight, hamed was getting two different kinds of advice

Never heard of anything like that before. Consistency should be the key at top level.

Manny doesn't really explain what he says or what he believes or why. He just splurts out random quotes which nobody understands because he doesn't explain the reasoning behind his thoughts.
I think that's the main problem with the guy.

Totally agree. Manny is all about getting himself over. He always makes premature observations in the first minute of the fight then covers his tracks to make it seem like he knew it the whole time after the fact.

Notice how he always reps Kermit Cintron as the guy to beat Mayweather. What a joke.

he makes sure to throw his fighters in there...which is natural...I just don't like his changing of predictions and obvious throughout the fight to make it seem like "he knew"

Yeah, his arrogance is annyoing, and his statements of late have been absolutly foolish and reflected his true knowledge of the sport.
(Cotto should be p4p #1. Duddy has a chance to beat Pavlik and Andy Lee will beat Pavlik in 08, etc etc)
