Amir Khan named Prospect Of The Year

Look out, lightweights: Amir Khan is set to invade the championship ranks in '08. With his blazing speed and ruthless power, Khan could rule over the 135-pound division for a long time.

Seriously, a big puncher is gonna hurt him, he has skills, but he really cant take a shot and his defence is as wide open as the grand Canyon.

I had thought it should be Victor Ortiz, until I saw Khan's KO over Graham Earl. Either man would be a good choice.

Berto would've been a good choice as well but Khan is a decent choice.

His defense has been better since the Limond fight

Get over the ****ing Limond fight. It was a fight early in his career against a 28-1 fighter, lots of fighters lose their early fights and come strong later in their careers.

I think Khan may of been believing his own hype a little which contributed to him being KD, since that fight he has been a lot better and it's not like he didn't get up and KO him is it . . .

That's why one man is a champion and the other is a "prospect". It makes no sense whatsoever now and the people handling Khan know this. The idea is to build up Khan's career, not destroy it before he is ready.
