Floyd is naturally larger framed than Hatton. "Bigger" is an ambiguous term, which should be defined before you argue it. Floyd's frame is that of a welterweight, jr middleweight, but he's always been very good at keeping his body weight low, better than Hatton, who's frame is less than most lightweights.

And my opinion is that Floyd is full of ****, and just says things for effect, and also knows that Cotto, Williams, and Margarito spell much tougher fights than lightweights, most of whom he would have a huge size/reach advantage over, like he always did when he was fighting there, the same as DLH, Trinidad, etc etc had early in their careers. It's smart, yes, but probably not the fights most want to see.
