Lewis. Only Tyson was more dynamic and could throw from any angle.

Lewis did. Lewis KOed Ruddock who Mike failed to. Holyfield could probably answer the question best, but he would probably say Tyson, just like he predicted Tyson would KO Lewis in Memphis because Lewis "fights defensively and doesn't hold the ground he walks on."

Lewis also KOed Golota which Tyson failed to do. Botha was KOed by that remarkable four punch comba that all landed. Can't remember what Tyson did to Botha.

Lewis also floored Tony Tucker twice and Tyson couldn't drop Tucker in 12 rounds.

Lewis has the more powerful punch, no DOUBT.

Lewis was how much Heavier than Tyson & Tyson was still knocking over 17/18 stone heavyweights

at Heavyweight Lewis probably hit harder due to size IMO but p4p Mike was a bigger puncher. he was only a small Heavyweight really but still able to knock over 17/18 stone heavyweight

Lewis had the harder straight and most likely the harder one punch but Tyson's combination strength was better and his angles.

Ruddock also said he thought he and Mike finished each other off and were never the same.

Tyson TKO'd Golota and hurt him bad, which is why he quit the fight. Forget the damage that was done that the Doctor said. This is also when Tyson was slower.

Tyson, despite being shot, knocked Botha out with one punch.

Tucker held on to Mike the entire fight. It is also harder for a 5'11 fighter with a 72 inch reach, to land on a 6'5 fighter with an 82 inch reach, that holds. Lewis's height and arm length is a big plus, especially since Tyson will lose power throwing up, while Lewis can throw level or down.

That said, I'm not sure, but I've always thought Lewis in this.

It's hard to say really. Tyson is marked by what he did from 18-22/23, but he was probably stronger after prison, but the problem here was that he was no longer a good fighter, not as accurate/sharp. I still don't think Tyson ever had a true prime, where everything was at it's possible best/maturity.

IMO I would say Lennox could hit harder, Its just that for the smaller guy Tyson hit with the power of someone alot bigger!
