Robert Hawkins Upsets Dominick Guinn Over Ten

The mighty have fallen hard at the River Rock Casino in Richmond, British Columbia. Robert Hawkins (23-10, 7KOs), considered by many as a journeyman heavyweight, who also took the fight on late notice, outworked a lackluster Dominick Guinn (28-6-1, 19KOs) to win a ten-round unanimous decision. The scores were 97-93, 99-91 and 100-90. [details]

I can't believe experts were predicting Guinn to be the next great heavyweight, his career is officially over. Robert Hawkins was just coming off a brutal 5th round KO loss to Ukrainian Vladimir Virchis one month ago and he pretty much shuts out Guinn 100-90 on my card...Guinn has a job at Burger King waiting for him, he will be flipping burgers for the rest of his life.

He looked like he threw the fight, if he didn't throw it then he really sucks.

I'm tired of hearing about how Guinn was once a bright light in the division. It shouldn't be a shock anymore when he loses.

The funny part is that Michael Grant is making a comback with 5 straight wins.
I had high hopes for Guinn to

This may have been the ****tiest Friday Night Fights card of all time. Teddy Atlas said they should have worked harder to make a better card and he was very disappointed, those comments from Atlas were the highlight of the whole terrible event.
