I'm down for sure.....I am not totally sold on Diaconu yet and I won't be surprised if he gets beat by Dawson, but I will take the bet anyway because I have a lot of points.

i will make my pick after i see Wladimir fight Ibragomov so i know how Wlad does against hard punching southpaw boxers. if he just blows Ibragomov out, then i might re think that Wlad/Chagaev bet. LOL but if he shows a little confusion or weakness, then i'll go ahead and pick Chagaev. i cant afford to lose points over a dumb bet so i will bet carefully..lol

Very interesting bout.

Picked Kessler in the poll, but this one is a bit of a toss-up.

Kessler has the edge in experience, & maybe power,
but Dawson has solid edges in height, reach, & hand speed.

Both are very technically skilled boxers with power.

Be a hell of a match-up.

Nah man,i like Kessler,but he cannot beat Dawson,Dawson has got everything in the book,and one of the best right hooks to the body u can see,Kessler's left right combo would get mastered by Dawson in about four rounds,i think he would school him,i think a good slick southpaw would defeat Kessler,especially someone as skillfull as Dawson

What about his dubious chin? Getting dropped by less than stellar opposition (Eric Harding?) wouldn't bode well for a Kessler fight. Whether it's a low punch resistance or lapses in concentration, both will get him in big trouble sooner or later.

Kessler has already shown that he can not compete with slick southpaws that fight for the full 12 rounds. Dawson by UD or late knockout.

Please dont compare Chad Dawson with Joe Calzaghe! Mikkel Kessler should be praised for how well he DID do in their.

Would a good fight between these too. Think Dawson is still a bit too green for Kessler though, as Kessler will have learnt a lot from the Calz fight.

i haven't seen much of dawson but i know he is a talented fighter. kessler wasn't sucessful in the late rounds against calzaghe but could dawson's chin hold up for him to take kessler to the late rounds???
