If Joe Calzaghe fought and beat Sven Ottke..

Would you say his resume was decent? Ottke was the only other "good fighter" at SMW while Calzaghe was champion which he didn't face. Ottke was known for his gift decisions in Germany and had a record of 34-0 with only 6 KOs with 21 defences of his IBF crown.

I think it's a shame these two didn't meet because I'm 100% sure Calzaghe would of beaten Ottke, what you think?

Yep Calzaghe would have beaten Ottke, but I don't think it would have done a whole lot for his legacy other than he would have captured the IBF and WBA titles a lot sooner. But then would Kessler have been so highly regarded were he without the WBA title?
