Yeah I don't remember who was reffing, I want to say Kenny Bayless. I'd say he did a horrible job of not calling maybe 1 penalty, lol. He warned Hopkins about the low blows but Nard diverted the attention towards his own complaints.

Yeah I think a lot of guys flop when they get hit in the balls. I mean of course it's crippling........but when you see Micky Ward shake off low blows instantly, or Holmes just grimace after getting hit with a four piece combo to the sack it puts things in perspective about how bad a low blow is.

I mean Hopkins would rush in bent over at the waist throwing low blows in numbers and uppercuts to the legs.......**** was crazy.

There are different ways to get hit low, though. When they arch UPWARDS and land square on the bottom of your nuts, then you've got some beautiful, prime Golota work.

They both cam right after Zab had Cotto on unsteady legs. But I doubt that Zab will get a re-match any time soon.
I think the low blows Cotto threw on Zab were bad. But I also think a good sized slice of the % pie came from Judah selling the illegal shot.

My point is........I've seen the uppercuts to the balls Golota threw.

Hopkins was throwing those types uppercuts in numbers over and over.

IDK. It seemed like it really made Zab stop throwing as much. His output went down pretty bad from the second low blow and onwards.

Yes, but the first one wasn't anywhere near as bad as the second. If Cotto had only thrown the first one, I could have let it slide as an accident. But I do think they both were intentional now. It really makes me not like Cotto anymore.

id definately have to say that if judah doesnt get smashed with those low blows in that fight , that fight could have quite possibly turned out differently .

especially that one massive one , judah just didnt look the same after that , wether people want to admit it or not getting your balls freggin mashed effects you , especially more than once .

Never was big on Cotto. Now I like him less.

But the first blow was also valid because it's accumulated punishment once you get more than 1.
