Haye DID NOT NEED to take this fight.
BUT this goes to SHOW YET AGAIN that he is no Ducker.
Macca IMO doesn't deserve this chance and but for the Brit Rivalry he wouldn't be getting it.
The only outcome I can see is a Haye win by KO.
If Lee Swaby can KO Macca then Haye will possibly put him to sleep for a good few minutes.
The ONLY thing that worries me is Haye Starving himself to make weight AGAIN and in doing so making himself less than 100%.
I'm also guessing that this time around Frank Warren will not be requesting options on any future Haye Fights should he win.

Anyway as long as Haye is still as able as he was against Mormeck then there really will be no contest against Macca.
Who has Macca beaten in truth of the same calibre as Haye?

Haye is ****** to take this fight... he will be soooooo soooo weight drained. Haye UNDER ESTIMATES Maca, and will lose ALL his titles.

Haye should've made Macca go up a weight instead of him going down.
It will be a good fight, it can go either way.

Yeah it really seems like Haye is an old school fighter willing to take on anyone.

I am glad Haye took the fight, so we didn't have to listen to any Frank Warren rubbish along the lines of, "We have offered Haye a career high purse, but he has decided to duck the best in the the division and in Britain, to fight a shot Heavyweight (Rahman)".

Interesting though Haye doesn't mention his promoter in getting the fight but his manager, is he still signed to Frank Maloney?.

Frank Warren had a bust up with Sky so he would never tell them anything first but the contracts must not be signed because Frank Maloney [Haye's manager] does loads of business and would have told them about the fight within minutes of the contracts being signed. Frank Warren is just filling Setanta with ****

I apologize for being skeptical, thanks for the link.

If this is in fact done, it's a huge event in the UK and the winner can catapult right into serious heavyweight contention, which is SORELY needed. Another great fight for boxing, showing the momentum from this year is carrying over to next.

Now, to get DLH-Cotto signed and sealed and all the sudden the first half of 08 is almost as stacked as the second half of 07.
