    You Have To Laugh At Frank Warren

    Obviously everyone is delighted that two top cruiserweights are going to fight and that it is an all-British class makes it all the more appealing to those of us on the Queen's Fair Isles but the truth is that fights of this magnitude are few and far between and for that we can thank Frank Warren. For years he has been responsible for promoting Britain's best boxers but more often than not the fans have been let down with mismatches and few spectacles.

    Upon the announcement of the fight between Haye and Maccarinelli Warren said: "I'm in the business of delivering big fights."

    I nearly fell off my chair when I read that. Kudos to Frank for getting this fight signed, sealed and delivered but don't kid us on - over the years dwarfs have given us bigger fights than you Frank!

    lmao i know, and you seen who khan's facing? This no namer dane, who has won 19 fights, with 4 ko's only, hasn't fought anyone competitive.

    Frank warren is ruining them, and making their development to be the best impossible.

      Lol yeah that was funny, espeiallly with the Heavyweight merry-go-round that he has provided us with this year.

      And that Dane is ranked #2 by the WBO and Warren has said that he is trying to make it into an eliminator for the #1 spot, so if he does i can see his thinking behind it.

        You gotta give him credit for getting Matt Skelton a title shot against WBA champ Ruslan Chagaev...

            How come they are fighting at Cruiserweight..Thought Haye was weight drained and would not fight again at that ..
            Maccraneli is comfortable at the weight so....whats going on...
            Or are they fighting at a catch weight...

            Just saying because I saw the recent interview on Setanta where both fighters , although eager for the fight seemed to think the weight would be a problem..

              I'd like to see Matt Skelton vs David Haye at Heavyweight.

                  In short:

                  * Maccraneli didn't have the bottle make the fight a catch weight never mind stepping up to HW. Maccraneli knows his only chance of winning is when he's fighting a weight drained Haye at CW.

                  * Haye is a true champion and wants to give the fans the fights that they want to see, no matter what he has to put his body through.

                  * Frank Warren's a ****!
