Let it be made clear. He is severely disliked because he is a ducker and dodger of risky fights he is obligated to take, denying worthy champs like Margarito, Cotto, and Williams their shots at greatness. He is disliked because of his personality and attitude and habits of lying and hypocracy.
Fans don't hate on the best for being the best. Tiger Woods is admired. Wladimir Klitschko is admired. Mike Jordan is admired. Roger Feder is admired. The Williams sisters are admired. BHOPS is admired.
Mayweather is hogging all the glory and spotlight for himself, and acting condecescending and conceited while making BS excuses, to discriminate peeps like Cotto Williams and Margarito from sharing the ring with him.
As for his talent, yes it is extraordinary and great. No one can deny it. But us Floyd skeptics sense his fear and reluctance of facing Cotto Margarito and Williams and because of that are eagerly excited to see each of those fights.
If Floyd wont fight them than he should get the hell out of the business and leave it to the real warriors, who will fulfill it as a GREAT era of superfights. Rather than a bunch of money fights. Cott Margarito and Williams and FLoyd would explode this era like how SRL Duran Hearns and hagler did to theirs. Floyd is ****ing it all up by being a prima donna and hiding from making these fights.
