I'd think you have to fight a few fights at WW in order to be ranked there and get a title shot. Mayweather fought Sharmba Mitchel(A jr WW). He was given a shot at Zab, who was champ until Baldomir surprised him. Then there was that BS with the IBF. They were so desperate to give Mayweather a belt. Then we have Rick... Ricky... Ricky... Hatton fought once in a close contest(Collazo). 1st, how did her earn his shot at the WW title> He then moved back to 140 and stayed for a year or more, before again, getting a shot at the WW title. Things seem very shady to me. .

So by jumping back up to WW, which was obviously not a good weight for Hatton, he leapfrogs a hefty list of guys. Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, Kermit Cintron and Josh Clottey. Funny that Hatton would get KO'd by all of the above within 5 rounds. Those guys should or are in the top 6 at WW. Hatton didnt deserve ****. The money you can bring in doesnt make you deserving of a shot.

Case in point. Right now Mike Tyson/Wlad Klitschko would be the biggest moneymaker in the heavyweight division if it was made today. It would be a PPV. There would be a Tyson Klitschko 24/7 and all. We'd all be duped into thinking Tyson was back. We'd see him sparring and KOing a few of his sparring partners. They'd show clips of Wlad getting KO'd by Brewster, Purrity and Sanders. We'd all be convinced that Tyson has a shot and ****... Huge PPV...

you nailed it. he was making like 3 mil for Brussels and the N'dou.. he turned down 7 mil to fight Margo from Arum and fought Shotbay for 4 mil.. then turned down Marg for 8 to fight a Judah coming off a loss for 6..
