I just happen to think that Cotto's win against Shane was more impressive. You already know who I think would win between Cotto and PBF.

He beat Fernando Vargas twice, Did'nt Ricardo Mayorga beat him as well knocking him down twice in the process? We all saw what Oscar done to Mayorga and a much better fighter in Vargas. Also may I add Mosley was competitive with a shot Vargas.
That could get ugly.

Cotto fans are quick to say that Cotto is better the PBF, and would knock Floyd out out... Well let's see How Cotto would do if put in the same position that Floyd was in.....
Let's let Cotto walk in Floyd's footsteps....and fight one of the best fighters in their generation @ a weight that cotto is not Natural at...!
People forget that in the past
Everytime PbF move up in weight that it was against a champion there wasnt no warm up fights...
Lightweight / Castillo(1st fight @ weight) for the belt
Jr. WW / Corely(1st fight @ weight) for the belt
WW/ Judah(1st fight @ weight) for the belt
Jr. Middle weight/ ODLH (1st fight @ weight) for the belt
And Cotto is moving up in weight not even fighting a champion so it should be more easier because a belt is not on the line..!!
So this is one of the ways, Cotto can prove he is better than Floyd like his fans say...
Mayweather is boxing’s best all-around fighter period.
Look @ his dominance over his opposition. Few fighters have ever been as statistically superior to his opponents than Mayweather, who rarely loses rounds, much less fights. A recent CompuBox analysis determined that the “Pretty Boy” leads the sport in “plus-minus” rating – and not by a little. The “plus-minus” is the difference between a fighter’s average connect percentage and that of his opponents, and Mayweather’s plus-30 (46 percent to 16 percent) is seven percentage points ahead of his closest competition, Juan Diaz, who owns a plus-23.
Mayweather’s rating compares favorably to the prime Roy Jones (plus-23) and Pernell Whitaker (plus-16). For the record
This is way I laugh when Cotto fans swear to God that Cotto is better than Floyd..... (And they are serious....)
Look at this PBF stat.....
WELTERWEIGHT CHAMP
FORMER JUNIOR WELTERWEIGHT CHAMP (’05)
FORMER LIGHTWEIGHT (2002-04)
FORMER JR. LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMP (1998-00)
17-0-0, 8 KO’S IN CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS
9-0-0 (6) at jr. light.
4-0-0 (1) at light.
1-0-0 (1) at jr. welter.
2-0-0 (0) at welter.
1-0-0 (0) at jr. middle.
17 CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS HAVE LASTED 166 ROUNDS AND AVERAGED 9.8 ROUNDS
(63% of his pro rounds have been fought in championship fights)
38 FIGHTS HAVE LASTED 265 ROUNDS AND AVERAGED 7.0 ROUNDS
(45% of his fights have been championship fights)
Come on Cotto Prove your Greatness and do just one of the things that PBF has done....

And yes, there is a reason why PBF is fighter of the year, but that's not it.
I'd rather put my hand on the canvas and be in perfect shape to win the remaining rounds, than being hurt and running for the rest of the fight.
And yes, that cannot be the reason because PBF's glove touched the canvas in 2006.
