It will be interesting to see how much difference Emanuel Steward has made in his corner, but judging by his last fight, I'm not impressed. What I see is a protected head case that has a super inflated KO record full of tomato cans. Margarito has a much better jaw, is a lot busier, hits just as hard, fights better on the inside, and that overcomes his lesser boxing skills and speed. Same result, imo, maybe a little later in the fight.

In an interview with a spanish language network (republica deportiva on univision) he said he wants to make that fight but Arum is not interested in it at all so he's going to do whatever top Rank decides. It seems like Arum was pissed about his decision to go against williams the first time and although he wants a rematch if he went against Arums advice again they kick him to the curb and give him no support. But he said he's willing to fight whoever they put in front of him and that they'll probably be the last two left and meet again.
