What the **** is up with these scores?

Sumbu Kalambay vs. Mike McCallum I

116-115 (3 rounds even), 115-114 (1 round even), 118-114 (4 rounds even) all for Kalambay. This **** was in Italy.

The rematch was weird too... 116-114, 116-115, 114-115. SD for McCallum.

Can these dumbass judges not figure out a way to break a tie in any round that is remotely close or what?

It was a very close fight. No one knew about Kalambay at the time and this fight was used to really establish his name. Without this fight, Kalambay wouldn't of been **** all.

      I know, but I can't even imagine scoring a fight 118-114.

      Round 1: Kalambay
      Round 2: Kalambay
      Round 3: Even
      Round 4: Even
      Round 5: Kalambay
      Round 6: Even
      Round 7: McCallum
      Round 8: Kalambay
      Round 9: Kalambay
      Round 10: Even
      Round 11: McCallum
      Round 12: Kalambay
(Not the official scores, I just made this up)

      Seems ridiculous to me.

Really? When has there been another scorecard with 4 even rounds (or more)?

Hell, I wasn't even saying it was shady, I just thought it was strange. Europeans do seem to have a higher frequency of giving out even rounds.

Larry O'Connell for one always seems to do it.

in fact i always questioned myself why are there so few tied rounds. sometimes is just hard to say who could won the round, and for just maybe a couple of more punches, or more agression it could go to somones way, but also giving the same score on a close round than in a round that clearly one guy wins is kind of unfair. well, hope the .5 system starts soon to see how it works =P.
