RJJ's chin will always be suspect regardless of what division he fights in. Advantage of fighting as a heavy weight is his opponets will be slower (remember the Ruiz fight?).

No, you saw what trouble John Ruiz gave a prime Roy Jones.

            Haha no.

Not against like the big guys (Wlad, Peter, Valuev, Povetkin). Well Povetkin and Peter not being so tall.........but all of those guys are big and punch really ****ing hard. Toney showed that he could compete at heavyweight one because of his phenomenal chin. The shape of his head or something absorbs shock and the punches bounce off his dome, I don't know. But even though Roy beat Ruiz he didn't show that he could compete against the other heavyweights.

And if at his older age with diminished reflexes got KTFO by two Light Heavyweights..........it only spells disaster at heavyweight.

How would he absorb flush punches from Wlad? Because if they were to fight........Roy could use his natural speed but Wlad isn't exactly slow. I don't think he'd have a hard time cutting off the ring and landing jabs and ****.

Against Peter I think Roy could feasibly win some rounds because of the blatant mismatch in speed/quality you'd see. But then again how is he going to deal with the big punches Peter throws.........because even Ruiz was able to land clean on Roy at times. If Peter lands a left hook he's out.

Valuev is too huge. He could throw clubbing punches on top of Roy's head and Roy has no target to work with. I think he'd have to jump to land punches on Valuev's jaw.

I always wanted to see the Tyson fight.

Roy would have beat the crap out of Holyfield though. Much worse than what Toney did.

If Roy had fought a huge HW like Lewis or Wlad, they'd be whipping out the smelling salts.

Now if he had fought Quitali, then Roy has a respectable chance.

After all, what happened the last time Quitali faced a smaller, blown up middle/super middle, who was quicker and more skillfull?

roy jones is in my pfp top 5 off all time , he got his title from a guy who beat evander holyfield, hasim rahman. ruiz wasn't the best heavyweight out there , but still roy jones started at ****ing 154 !! and he dominated him...i think he would have done pretty good . but when he met these really big dudes like lennox , wlad, even i have too admit he would get smoked real bad.
