Well you can have your opinion all you want to but you cant CHANGE THE FACT that the Ring Magazine had this so called BUM ranked as the champ and the man on top. You can belittle it all you want but Baldomir is far from a bum. He is not an elite fighter either. He is an Okay fighter IMO

Ofcourse Johnson would win. does'nt matter if Baldomir beat Clottey, Judah and Gatti, do you really think he would go 12 rounds with Ben Tackie and Cosme Rivera?

Like I said before, nothing changes the undisputed FACT that they were wrong and have moved forward to correct their error. Thats why he is now correctly ranked as, a journeyman.

Johnson can actually box, & still has quite a a bit left in the tank, as the Diaz fight showed.

Baldomir is a tough guy, but he's not quick & doesn't have that much of a punch.

He might outlast Johnson & wear him down late, but wasn't that impressed with Baldomir's conditioning from what I saw of his last fight, & think that Johnson would build up enough of early lead & coast home.

I'd say this is a pick'em fight. Johnson is a journeyman and so is Baldomir. It's a joke that Baldomir somehow won the lineal title, a bigger joke that people try to give Mayweather credit for this win, and even bigger joke that Judah is still considered a decent fighter by some after losing to this guy. Margarito showed the proper way an elite fighter is supposed to handle a tune up fight.

Remember the hype around Baldomir? "He walks around at 185 lbs, the guy is a beast." Just because a guy gets fat between fights, that's supposed to be impressive. I mean, c'mon, when is the last time you saw a fighter with 13 KO's in 61 fights, that people tried to claim was so powerful? The lengths people go to pump this guy up just to make Mayweather look better for fighting him instead of a WW champ that had held the title for 5 1/2 years with 7 successful defences, is just amazing. What is he ranked these days anyway?

The hype for Baldomir reminds me of the hype for Hatton as he ballooned between fights even though Hatton doesn't even belong at 147. Baldomir was big, but he is feather fisted and slow as hell. It's just absolutely astonishing that this guy beat Judah. Judah should have been laughed out of boxing after that.
