A healthy Jones should be able to outbox Tito no problem, the question is, will Jones be in good condition after making weigh.

if there is any excitement the Jones-Trinidad could offer, it is because both have been greats in their prime, and that was a decade ago... but for the meantime, while waiting for big fights to happen... Jones-Trinidad probably could make any sense...Comment

number one to have this fight on PPV is a slap in the face of any boxing fan. This fight should have happened 6yrs ago. When Mr. Bobblehead Tito Trinidad was talking smack (calling out RJ after Joppy fight) before he was categorically executed by Mr. Hopkins. I really wanted him to beat Hopkins so he could have gotten his ass served by RJ then.
He is even more overated than his fellow boriqua Mr. Cotto. Hopkins did what I had always said was the way to beat Trinidad, his only big punch is his left hook so Hopkins fought with his right hand shielding his face the entire fight. Winky did much the same and you saw the result of that fight. Lets not forget the boxing match that DeLaHoya gave him in what was one of the worst decisions I have seen in a megafight. Trinidad overated as I stated earlier has even fought in two years (3 fights since Hopkins 01') so why would anyone pick him. You have seen what he had done when he fight hall of fame caliber fighters how could you possibly figure he wins this fight?Even against an aging but still quick Roy Jones Jr. Trust me I will try my best to watch it because I am a huge boxing fan but you could bet the house that I won't be spending any bread for this farce of a fight. This is poor Don King's last chance to have any semblance of relevance as Arum, Goosen and the new top dog Golden Boy have surpassed him in the promotion game.

big deal, trinidad was never that big anywaySeveral weeks ago, I reported that Felix "Tito" Trinidad was claiming to be in the best physical shape of his career. Maybe he's not exaggerating. Felix Trinidad Sr. tells Endi that his son is just about 170-pounds, the agreed upon catch-weight for the Jan. 19 showdown with Roy Jones Jr. The bout will televised by HBO pay-per-view from New York's Madison Square Garden.
