Yer I would rather see Cotto-DLH then DLH-Hatton, and see Ricky stay at 140. I don't believe Hatton's pressure would effect DLH, he isn't big enough.

De La Hoya is a ****ing joke when it comes wanting smaller opponents. I've said it before I'll say it again.. Of course he wanted Hatton. Ricky was too small for Floyd. It's pathetic.

Oscar's ego is ****ing unreal. Waiting more time to make an annoucement.. Christ.

I haven't been down on De La Hoya very much but this **** gets old.

That was the first thing that came into my mind as well.

The only reason I don't have a problem with this is when fighting Oscar you tend to become a household name. The more household names this sport has the better.

DLH/Hatton at 154 would just be rediculous and I don't see Oscar making weight at anything less. Ricky would look like the Guiness drinking doughboy that he is before training camp and Oscar would stop him within 6.

DLH/Cotto makes a lot more sense. Gives Floyd more of a rest, and makes the Cotto/Mayweather fight that much bigger if he beats Oscar.

Exactly. I'm not fooled by Oscars image. The man built is record up as a fraud IMO. Fights Trinidad leftovers and claims the fame. He is more a businessman than a fighter. C'mon people...The infamous Hopkins dive fight and we all know that body shot never landed and even if it did nobody in there right mind would have reacted the way he did.

I know he wont fight Cotto even though that is the right fight. What about Ronald Wright who is also calling out Oscar ? yah right, the fight will never happen. He will end up fighting the much smaller yet highly skilled Ricky Hatton and beat him just because he is the much bigger man. I'm not fooled here. If he fights Cotto he will forced to trade really hard punches on the inside and Oscar will never do that against someone as strong and as powerful as Cotto. Remember the Trinidad fight people ?

I want to see him fight Cotto. Fighting Hatton will just be an easy last fight for him. Cotto will present much more of a challenge and if Cotto wins, people will be calling for a Mayweather fight even more than they are now.

Mayweather-Cotto will never ever materialize! for the simple reason that Cotto is going to get the first loss of his career... by knockout... against ODLH. Dela Hoya-Mayweather II is a possibility... that would be more exciting. Dela Hoya will be fighting Ugly Boy Floyd again. I love to see Miguel beating Oscar but it is a remote possibility... Cotto is much smaller than Oscar.

Cotto will destroy Oscar. But Floyd will beat Cotto.
