Wait a second, Pavlik vs. Taylor, referee what?

Are you people serious when you say that any ref besides Smoger would have stopped it in the second?

Pavlik got his face ****ed hard by some Taylor punches, but bounced up at the count of 1 and a half, and then survived the round without much trouble (except for being clubbed in the back of the head). I don't think this fight should have even been considered for being stopped.

Forrest-Mosley I was a case when any other referee in the world would have stopped it, but Pavlik-Taylor was NOT!

There's no way it should have been stopped. There are a few trigger happy referees who would have stopped it but they would have been wrong.

I concur. Pavlik was hurt but it wasn't like he was blown out of the water. Jermain was actually the one holding by the end of the round.

I felt Smoger jumped in a bit to early and should have let Taylor go down and given him a chance to get back up. He let Miranda take way more punishement when he fought Pavlik. At least give the champ a chance to get up from teh canvas.

I disagree, Taylor was clearly out cold and it was a good stoppage by Smoger, there is no way he would've beaten the 10 count.

He has a point, when you compare the way he lets other people fight through the tough times.

best case scenario , taylor beats the count . than what its not like anyone was home anyways so ya i agree just stop it , or else you just would have seen another massive right hand and taylor REALLY would been out cold.

I disagree, Smoger stopped it as soon as Taylor hit the floor, Taylor was the cahmp, he deserved a chance to get off of the canvas. If he doesn't make it, he doesn't make it, but at least give the champ a chance.
