Why is Margarito not in the WBC top 15 rankings?

the WBC is based in Mexico City. Margarito is from Mexico. Now why would the WBC not rank Margarito in their welterweight rankings???

    HMMM

could the best team in boxing have finagled the necessary arrangements to protect PBF from every having to fight Margarito???

im telling you there is a worldwide conspiracy to keep this man away from margarito. the wbc knows if they made margarito the #1 contender that he should be that they would lose out on the fees they take from mayweathers purses.

    plain and basic common sense.

I believe a fighter must pay sanctioning fees in order to be recognized by a boxing organization.

is this serious? a guy whose last two fights were a loss to williams and a ko of golden johnson should make him number 1 contender?! cotto and of course williams should definitely be ranked ahead of him and one could probably even argue mosley as well. Let me guess, the ring magazine is also leaving him off the pound 4 pound list because they are desperate for floyd to avoid him right. Marg had the hype going and was getting a reputation as a feared fighter, that is until an up an comer Paul Williams called him out and took his title, kinda takes away from the most feared boxer rep doesn't it.

do you wanna know the real reason? or keep complaining about it for no reason?

I believe that Margarito isn't ranked by the WBC because he's ranked in the top 10 by the WBO.

I don't think a fighter can be ranked in the top 10 by more then one organization. or at least thats the impression I am under .. because the WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC all have official rankings .. and I have never seen a fighter that is ranked top 10 in one organization .. be top 10 in another.

Maybe it has changed, but when John "The Beast" Mugabi fought Marvin Hagler, he was ranked #1 by the IBF, WBA and WBC, so at least back then, what you said is untrue. But, like I said, it could have changed.

Because he doesn't deserve it. What has he done lately? Beat an old washed up Golden Johnson, wow, really impressive.
