This thread was in response to another thread in which some said Pavlik would get outboxed by mayweather I believe.

The first thread on this was a joke and it was bad enough. This thread is taking a fight between Floyd and Kelly seriously....which makes me want to ask these questions:

1.) How many field goals will T.O. kick in the post season?
2.) Can Barry Bonds win the Master's?
3.)When will Klitschko stop ducking Juan Diaz??
4.) How much crack was sniffed before this thread was created..?

Pavlik kills Mayweather alright but I doubt he could take on Ivan Calderon.

This is no worse than the Mayweather/Pacquiao matchup that was proposed about a month or so ago. Still pretty bad though. Of course if you want to give Floyd full credit for winning a 154 belt, 160 is not completely out of the question. Spinks held his own with Taylor, and some actually had him winning, so stranger things have happened.

Atleast Pacquiao is fighting in a division Floyd used too, Pavlik has fought as high as Light Heavyweight...

Manny also started his career at 106 lbs and won a world title at 112. He is about as heavy as he can go and still be world level, with the possible exception of 135. When I hear talk of him fighting Mayweather or De La Hoya at 147, I just have to laugh.

Manny came into fight night weighing 144 pounds, while floyd mayweather comes into his fights weighing 148... Theres not a huge weight difference between the two
