it wasn't a fluke at all. Taylor was winning that fight clearly before the stoppage.

Pavlik should count himself lucky Taylor's accuracy was so poor. Otherwise it would have been over in two.

Taylor did good in the first round but his accuracy was ****. I think he was a little to anxious about the fight

I want to see how Taylor responds to this. Hes in there with a good chance at beating Pavlik. But the loss could have weirdly affected him, as it was his first.

The rematch will produce the same result, I feel Taylor is at more of a disadvantage this time due to the added weight because Pavlik will be evn stronger moving up. After the brutal knockout Taylor suffered, you don't just bounce back from that this soon without it being in your head still. I think that will be in the back of his mind mentally during the fight and could affect the way he fights and make him more cautious and hesitant than the first fight, knowing if he makes a mistake he will go to sleep again. Pavlik is gonna knock him out again. Taylor is taking this fight to soon, it would be different if he lost a decision but the way he was knocked out there is no way he has fully recovered mentally.

Maybe Taylor will be stronger and take him out in 1 or maybe Taylor will be able to take a better punch at a higher weight and win 12.
Maybe Pav's power will have less effect at a higher weight.

I thought orginally that Taylor would have a good shot for the rematch, but then got rid of Manny...

Yeah he's screwed. If Taylor wins, REMATCH FOR THE MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLES! Pavlik has just as much trouble making weight as Taylor and I still believe Taylor could make middle. Then again if Taylor wins in the triology, if there is one, he'll probably just vacate the titles anyway...

I hope Pavlik wins and then stays at Middle. That divison really needs him.
