doesnt paul williams train in pr? paul williams doesnt have a little fan following in pr? although if it is in puerto rico, paul doesnt have to travel before fight night and the house would be pro-quintana. maybe paul williams can turn the crowd on his side after the fight i.es Rocy IV.

so that means cotto should just go ahead and fight margarito instead? how about nobody fights nobody. is that better? williams is the number 3 WW right now. Thats why. He is only behind mayweahter and cotto and thats it. So stick a up your ass and stop with your hate-crush on the punisher.

Of course nobody can beat him, he's a weight drained light-heavy fighting against guys who are half his size.

I mean, ****, cintron is getting tons of crap for not fighting williams. His hand got busted, and instead of postponing their matchup by a little, williams goes ahead with a different opponent, so cintron calls out the guy who gave him his only defeat, margarito (a guy everyone had previously said that cintron needs to avenge his loss against) and now cintron is ducking williams!!!! cintron also says that he wants to fight cotto after that (im thinking for a super fight on the PR day parade at MSG), so i guess cintron is ducking pwil there, as well, oh but wait, like any great soap opera there is more to this story... Pwil has also said he wants cotto next, so i guess he is ducking cintron!!!!

two guys, ducking each other!!! whoa, what drama. how about this... guys dont pick who they fight, managers and trainers do. most guys will fight whoever is put in front of them. all the welterweights want a fast track to floyd, and right now that is through cotto, so of course everyone wants to fight cotto! you are all like a bunch of females wiht your "this guys ducking this guy, but wait, now he's ducking this guy". like a bunch of ****ing females.
You can't blame Williams for wanting to get another fight though. He's been inactive since July. I made a statement in another thread that it bothered me that all of a sudden Cintron is looking to fight Margarito but I'm gonna have to go back and correct myself due to my response in this thread. I don't believe anyone is ducking anyone. I think both guys are just trying to stay active.

With that said, my question, and I ask this in all sincerity is, who does Paul Williams need to fight to get a shot at Cotto? I believe that Williams is the candidate for Cotto to beat to get the shot at Mayweather. Williams falls right behind Cotto so again I ask, who does Williams have to beat to get Cotto?

When Floyd goes to sleep at night, he checks his closet for Paul Williams.

uhhh...didn't he have a choice to vacate his title and take a big payday with miguel cotto instead?? People really need to stop discrediting fighters just to hype up their owns

Yeah he won't be at 147 forever, just to let you know.

You can reminisce about his days as the freakishly huge welter, but when he moves up in weight and gets sent around the ring like a rag doll........his height and weight advantages won't be looking that great anymore.

Dude what the **** do you base this off of? Since when was a glorified victory over a untested prospect better than a reigning world champ with numerous title defenses many of which have came by K.O?? And for the record margarito did not lose to paul williams even half as bad as you guys try to make it seem, after the 4th round every round could've gone either way and margarito even hurt the dude in the 11th I think it was. You margarito haters/floyd ****suckers are something else...
