I'd like to see him fight some similary aggressive fighters on like ESPN or something. Maybe Lacy will never one of the best in boxing but he's still a very exciting good fighter. Put him in against some tough grinders.

When Calzaghe embarresed Lacy, that got to him mentally.
Didn't help him much either that in his return, coming off from that loss - his rotator cuff tore.
And now against a BUM (Manfredo, even though Peter has improved since Contender) he looked like ****! And Lacy is 30, so he is done. Sure he might sign more fights and earn himself som cheddar. But, besides that .. He's done.Comment

The truth is that Lacy was never ever world class. People knew that for a long time, but Showtime hyped him up because he got the right KO at the right time. The early ESPN fights against no-namers started this.
He's always been limited. Calzaghe just exposed that.

lose some of that muscle. it was too much! he was tired in the 2nd half, and slow. he is looking like a bodybuilder! looks great, but it clearly effected his boxing!Comment
