    PBFs defense

Now even the people who HATE PBF have to respect his amzing defense, Im just wondering how he stacks up alll time, I mean can he be compared to people like willie pep? is he on that level?

Could Floyd win a round without throwing a single punch? Floyd has extraordinary defence for sure, but Pep was 110-1 before he was in a plane wreck that almost killed him (he turned down 500K from the insurance co, an insane amount of money in those days, to keep fighting), mostly from his defence.

Not many fighters have had as effective a defense as Floyd, so yeah in that category he's an ATG, yes. AMong the best I've seen on film, along with guys like Whitaker, Benitez, Locche, Pep, Jones Jr., Toney(at times), Hopkins, etc.

PBF's one of the greatest defensive fighters of all-time. He is a defensive genius.

Pep was a defense specialist he is proberbly No.1 then Sweet Pea is 2nd Mayweather, Toney and Wright would proberbly fill up the top 5.

Toney and Wright? Toney belongs in an honorable mention category outside the top 10, Wright maybe a little further behind, but surely neither are top 5.

I couldn't think of anyone else. lmfao. I struggle to think of defensive specialists or fighters that excelled in defense because most of the time their offense overshadows their defense.
