I think Dawson could be the future of star of Boxing it all depends on how his chin holds up his body punching is as good as Cotto's if u ask me he is as quick as RJJ IMO his Boxing skills are awsome he is a lefty aswell

he has looked very illusive against Ruiz ,Mendoza,Adamek although he was flawed by Amamek that was a lapse in concentration i think what im saying is Dawson has looked great defensively against Poor oposition ,guys like Ruiz ,Mendoza come with big looping punches wide hooks & swing for the fences im not sure Dawson would be as illusive against the other top light heavyweights thats when we will find out how good he actually is

i am a big fan though ,fantastic speed ,combintaions ,body punching

Actually Chad is a righty who fights southpaw. We box pretty similar and he doubles up that right hook with the best of them. I want to see him face Joe and even in a loss I think he will prove himself to be the future of this sport.

The thing about Dawson is that he would lose to Calz right now, and then the fight won't be remembered as a huge win.

And Chad is a star but he is not THE future. He's not a young Roy Jones by any means

                  It's difficult.

There's not really anyone that would create a superb "Legacy"

Atm the division doesn't really have anyone great, only really good up and comers which Cal won't be remembered as being great for beating.

The only other legends in the division are shot, e.g. RJJ, which wouldn't do anything for Cal if he beat

If Calzaghe beats Hopkins I think his next bout will be against Jones Jr. That is where the money will be.
