The Contender people may have pushed him aside for lesser fighters such as Mora and Manfredo, but whatever happpened to the guy that beat Forbes in the final, Grady Brewer?

I haven't heard a peep about him since.

Forbes is a tough fight for anyone at 140. He has a lot of experience and a technically sound style that contains enough substance to deflate some of these flashier guys.

As far as Brewer, he's probably with his family enjoying that huge payday he received for winning the Contender. He lost all of the momentum coming out of The Contender and will have to resume his dayjob as a journeyman when he comes back.

Brewer has been sidelined with a bad knee. He definitely wants to fight again ASAP.

He should capitalize on the momentum he picked up, but it's going to be tough now that his name hasn't been out there in awhile. Thats why he needs a good PR guy.
