Zab has all the skills that make a top p4p fighter.. but breaks down mentally, which is a main cause to almost all his losses.. You think if it wasnt for this he would be the top guy right now at welterweight??
If Zab could keep mentally stable would he be the man right now at 147 ?

I think Floyd beat him because of a MUCH better gameplan. That was a damn good Zab you saw during that fight, but the pressure and the bodywork was to much for him. -
I'm not sure he'd be "the man", but he'd definitely be considered a legitimate threat to every other WW. As of right now you have to consider him to be in the 2nd tier of Welterweights. IMO he'd be up among the 1st tier if he wasn't such a ****ing clown.Comment

does a mentally stable zab have the ability to adjust once mayweather adjusted to zab's speed and started landing straight rights and going to the body?

I've said this a million times, but I'm willing to repeat it. Floyd was a good matchup for Zab. But Zab lacks many basic boxing skills that get him killed against flat-footed punchers. He doesn't have the skill to ever beat a Tzsyu or Cotto. Those fights were not accidents, not mere mental lapses.Comment

Exactly. His chin is genuine glass. He only looks skilled on single shots, he can't sustain any offense and that's why he can't keep a good puncher off him. He doesn't set anything up he just waits for an opening, b ut waiting is not good, especially if your chin sucks.Comment
