    money ruins boxing sometimes

i was just thinking how the motivation of money cheats the fans out of good fights. mayweather is one of my favorite boxers but his number 1 priority of money IMO deprives the fans of good fights. He can easily go after the other WW champs to unify but doesn't because he feels they aren't a good enough money draw. its just that he has made so much money that he isn't as hungry and fights for the money. Hes not all interested in what the fans want which is for him to unify the division. he feels he accomplished all he had to and thats fair but he still young and he can solidify is status even further if he would unify the whole division undefeated. he would accomplished something that no other boxer has done so why not go for it. I just think that its upsetting that he doesn't want to do that because the money isn't right at this time.

no cowards ruin boxing. real fighters will fight the best even if its not a career high payday. even judah took only 100k to get a rematch with spinks and he beat him. i give him more credit for that then anything mayweather has done in his life.

thats a good point. mayweather is one of my favorite boxers but it just annoys me that he doesn't want to fight the other welter's. I mean whats the point of having a title if you don't want to unify. If I was a fighter just being a champion in one organization wouldn't be enough. I would have to be undisputed.
