IF Mayweather is able to clean out the Welterweight division...

Assuming he beats Cotto/Williams/Mosley/Margarito IMO his biggest threats at 147.

If he did that what then? Retire? Or Will people just align more opponents as he goes along? Floyd is a great talented fighter and i have him only losing 1 fight since i started watching him. (Castillo/Mayweather 1)

I still think Mayweather will fight at least once this year but thats just me.

He did seem fairly keen to retire, but I think he should take on those fighters mentioned and if he manages to beat them all he can say without a doubt that he is one of the greatest boxers ever.

I dont even think he has to beat all those fighters..If he beats Cotto he can retire and no one can say jack. Cotto is the man to beat right now at 147. Not Williams, Mosely or Margarito.

Floyd only needs to beat Cotto and Williams to be undisputed at WW.

If he fought them 4 and beat them all he would have to be considered as ATLEAST top 5 G.O.A.T if not even #1.

If he fights 2 or 3 more fights @ 147 then moves up and beats say Winky/Forrest/Spinks @ 154 there is NO denying how great he is.

People will always hate on Floyd. If he were to clean ouyt the Division, then they'd say he'd have to beat Chavez Jr., The Kelly Pavlik, then Chad Dawson, then Wladimir Klitschko. It will never end.

beating cotto convincingly would be enough, but if it was close he would need another name or 2 for me. shane and cotto was close so if pbf could dominate cotto than i would have to call him the man at welter!

Unify the division and retire. That would be ideal but he may just defeat Cotto and call it a night.
