First of all, why are you asking me as if I claimed Morales is the bigger draw? Why do you guys get so emotional and jumpy at ANY reply?

To answer your question, Morales was a bigger draw compared to PBF prior to PBF's figtht with De La Hoya. What does the race of the fanbase matter? We're talking about purchases of PPV and Morales sold more than PBF. Are you trying to say that the hispanic community wont purchase non-hispanic bouts? Are you aware that Roy Jones Jr. was revered in the hispanic community? He's one of my father's favorite fighters.

Is what I'm saying wrong? Did his PPV average not jump after the DLH fight? Do you know ANYTHING about marketing?

By your logic, while sitting at my computer I have never been attacked by tigers. Therefore; I can deduce that my computer wards off tigers.

I dont know, maybe you should ask ferocity that question?

Hey who is jumping and getting emotional...you guys are giving me a stomachache from laughter...Morales was the bigger draw Morales BTW is one of my favourite fighters of all time...What I was saying is Pacquiao has a solid fanbase, Morales has a solid fanbase and they did 350,000 PPV's in the first fight.

Mayweather did 325,000 against Baldomir and over 400,000 with Judah, THESE WERE THE FIGHTS BEFORE DLH. But sure Morales is clearly a bigger draw, if anyone disagrees he is a floyd nuthugger.

Surely Baldomir and Judah were the draw...

You guys are great for entertainment, keep boxingscene alive!

Did I call you a nuthugger? You guys have so many double standards when it comes to PBF its ridiculous. When talking about PBF's PPV's, fanbases dont matter, when talking about other fighters, fanbases matter. Floyd fought Baldomir because he had a following and it made financial sense, now Baldomir never was a draw. Its incredible, "numbers are numbers no matter what." Thats an actual quote from a PBF stan on here. I just dont remember what thread that is.

I'm almost 100% certain that Mayweather-Gatti, Mayweather-Judah and Mayweather-Baldomir did better PPV numbers than ANY Morales fight.

If I'm wrong I stand corrected.

And I'm not trying to diss Magarito. I think he is a tough out for ANYBODY at welter. But he needs more then a lopsided win over Golden Johnson to get his name back in the mix. I would have liked to see a PWILL vs Margarito rematch, but it's not in the cards at this time. I don't know the whole inside details behind these deals, but I think a Cotto vs. Margarito fight would be great. But I think Cotto is to tied up with fighting Mayweather. Which I think is the next fight for Cotto. Now that Cotto has a big pelt on his belt, the money is there. Mayweather, if the Money May moniker really fits, will take the Cotto fight.
It's not so much as Magarito being a bad fighter. He just isn't much of a draw. There are great matchups to be made at welter. I think Margarito will get a big fight soon. It just not be for the mega numbers his fans want to see.

even if they did, remember what Parody stated about fanbases. Gatti was a bigger draw than Mayweather when they fought and he had his own built in fanbse. BTW, Gatti/Mayweather did around 360, Judah/Mayweather was around 350. What's funny is that, these numbers arent even the highest for this period in boxing.

You're preaching to the quire. I would much rather see Williams, Cotto or Calzaghe get a shot before Margo.

Dont pay attention to guys like him. He's a nutthugger. Floyd wasn't **** before Gatti, then sky rocketed after Delahoya. Hatters don't want to admit this. I think the day Mayweather loses, tears are going to fill the street from Mayweather fans crying themselfs to sleep.
