Okay, this post I made on your request, Warp.
Quitali Fanboy Logic
-Vitali has never lost because he was winning when he lost to Lewis and Byrd. It doesn't matter than Brittley couldn't or wouldn't finish the fight.
-Miss Byrd/Lewis is great because he only lost twice, it doesn't matter that he beat a total of 3 Ring magazine ranked top 10 contenders, all of whom were fat, old, or both fat and old.
-Dr. No (mas) was banned from the Olympics for juicing and tried to pick a fight with Lummox after Lummox beat him, but he's still an honorable and gracious sportsman.
-Lummox Lewis was in good shape when he fought and beat Quitali, because Lummox said so before hand. It doesn't matter that Brittley said after he lost that Lewis was in poor shape and heavy.
-The last time Lummox Lewis showed up in poor shape for a fight, he lost to Oleg's son, Hasim Rahman. Quitali loses to an undertrained Lewis, but it was some amazing achievement to lose but win 4 of 6 rounds officially. It's nothing like beating a 29 year old Lewis (McCall) or going even for 10 rounds with a prime Lewis (Mercer).
-It's fine that Brittley Quitschko had to be forced by the WBC to defend against his mandatory Hasim Rahman, instead of his preferred choice of Calvin Brock. All other titleholders should fight mandatories, but Brittley is allowed to run and hide with Hasim has an APB out on Brittley and his Baltimore ******* selling friends looking for him in the day with a flashlight.Last edited by Thread Stealer; 12-26-2007, 11:54 AM.Comment

"Sugar Ray Leonard feared Aaron Pryor and ducked him".
Leonard, who fought Benitez, Duran two times, and Hearns in a two year span, and offered Pryor a fight he beat DeJuan Johnson, was apparently scared of the 140 lb Pryor and ducked him.
"Floyd Mayweather was scared of Antonio Margarito and ducked him".
Mayweather instead fought a guy with a more respected belt (WBC) and didn't have to work with his promoter whom he hated and whom publically bashed him, and made things easier for a bout with Oscar De La Fishnet, whom everyone wants to fight. But it was all ducking out of fear.
Now, take these two into mind, and then you get this one.
"No Way Did Quitali Quitscko Duck Hasim Rahman".
Yes, even though he was forced by the WBC to fight Rahman as Brittley kept trying to fight Calvin Brock.

Boxing News: WBC KOs Klitschko-Brock
The WBC stepped up to the plate and put the kibosh on the bout between Vitali Klitschko and Calvin Brock in September. Bowing to public pressure and the haranguing of the press, the WBC’s Board of Governors just released a statement announcing the news.
The Board of Governors of the World Boxing Council, presided by doctor Jose Sulaiman, announces from its offices in Mexico City that a final decision has been taken in regards to the heavyweight division, as follows:
1. The WBC requires that Vitali Klitschko make his following defense against the interim champion, winner of the Rahman-Barrett fight of August 13, 2005 in Chicago to comply with the WBC Rules and Regulations for a champion.
2. Vitali Klitschko would be approved to make a voluntary defense on September 24, only if there is a consent or acceptance agreement with the parties of the interim championship bout, as it has been the case in many occasions in the past.
3. Based on all considerations, including the last 5 fights of the 3 boxers, the WBC has decided that:
a) A split of 65-35% is applied if Klitschko is not approved to fight on September 24.
b) However, a split of 55-45% will be applied if Vitali is approved to fight on September 24.
4. If Klitschko does not fight on September 24, the winner of Rahman and Barrett must be ready and medically approved to fight Klitschko within 6 to 8 weeks after the August 13 bout.
5. If Klitschko is allowed to fight on September 24, the winners of the interim championship fight and champion Klitschko’s fight must be ready to fight for the undisputed WBC title no later than December 2005.Comment
