i went to walmart today, looking at dvds to buy, i saw all these MMA dvds with knockouts and famous fights and ****, i realized boxing had none of this, i wish we could get more than just tyson knocking people out over and over on dvd.

That's because UFC is a brand, and UFC generally puts together great events. This is fact.

Nowadays you have a great main event but with 4 ****ty undercards because of the greedy promoters (*cough* Golden Boy Promotions. *cough*)

Go to amazon. Type in a fighters name. I know they have Chavez, Morales, Barrera, W.Gomez, S.Sanchez, R.Oliveras, P.Pinio Cuevas fights on DVD which should include some awesome back ground story.

I mentioned this on the his-panic fourm but nobody seemed to care.

I have the Camacho v. Mancini cassete before dvd came out and it should some great background info before the fight.

Hbo has a great documentary collection. Back in the mid 90's they used to do 1hr maybe it was 30 minute documentaries on a few fighters at a time. It was great. They used to carry them in video rental stores but not no more. The last boxing video i seen was Muhhamed Ali and Rocky Marciano dvd at blockbusters.
