Hatton: I'd be silly to axe Billy

RICKY HATTON is ready to stick with trainer Billy Graham — despite suffering a crushing defeat to American Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas.

The Hitman’s bid to take the WBC world welterweight title from the Pretty Boy ended when he was knocked out in the 10th round.

But Hatton, 29, is refusing to blame anyone but himself.

He said: “Billy will still be training me in the future.

“I am the one who lost the fight, nobody else.”

many other fighters in the past have blamed the trainer for the lost! I guess this shows what kinda guy Ricky is.

Whoever is in Rickys corner would not have made a difference. Floyd was flawless that night and it was just his night.

Yes. Him admitting that he lost the fight shows exactly what type of fighter he is.

Hatton has a great team behind him, he would be delusional if he fired his trainer. Ricky is a verry good fighter, its just that Mayweather is even better, and Mayweather deserves verry much respect for beating this man. Hatto is a verry good fighter, one of the best today, but Mayweather is an ATG and thats what makes the difference.
Some people say hatton was small, smaller than mayweather but that bull****. hatton is actually bigger tha Mayweather. Hatton started at 140 but where did Mayweather start? There you have your answer. Hes an alltime great he has beaten the best 140 pounder in Ricky hatton. And Mayweather started at 130 and thats why hes an alltime great. zab Judah, Baldomir, Gatti, just a few fighter who Mayweather has beaten and they are all bigger than him. And he also has beaten other great fighters like Castillo, Chavez or Corrales. Mayweather is not the greatest of all time but he is an Top10 all time great.

As I've said previously: Hatton is a better person than any of his stans are.

Nah he pushed in front of my cousin in a kebab shop in Stalybridge and I've never done that, so I'm well better.
