Glen Johnson Talks on Fighting Chad Dawson

Rounds 10 to 12 with Adamek as seen below make me think Johnson may have a chance.
Adamek is not a big puncher and dropped Dawson and was coming on late.
If Johnson can stay busy and not get discouraged, he's got a chance.
Dawson needs to be focused the whole way with Johnson, something Tarver and Jones each forgot to do once.

Chad Dawson is going to look like Ray Robinson here. Glen Johnson cannot deal with a boxer who sticks behind the jab. If I was in Glen Johnson's corner, I'd never put him in with a style like Dawson's. It's just a terrible style for Johnson.Comment

You wanna back that up with some points or u just talking smack?haha get out of this thread u've never johnson fight if you think johnson will get ko'd early.
Dawson is too young and skilled for johnson, even though johnson isnt showing any signs of age. Dawson 116-111
Edit: wouldnt be surprised to see johnson pull off the upset, and he WILL for sure if dawson doesen't perform at his bestComment

Glen Johnson is the best opponent Dawson has faced so it will be interesting to see how he does, a win over him and Diaconu could set him up with a big fight against calzaghe at the end of 2008.
Respect to Glen johnson for taking this fight none of the other big names in the division want anything to do with dawson.Last edited by duffgun; 12-22-2007, 01:23 PM.Comment
