Hey, beans and rice, no I'm talking about Cotto. And of course Cotto doesn't have Baldomir on his list, which is why he's left with a paper championship left over from Floyd's (would be) unification, from Judah's paper belt and Baldomir's WBC (after he refused to pay and keep the IBF and WBA). On Cotto's record we see either guys coming off losses, faded champs, or contenders 10 pounds lighter than he is and barely coming out of the amateurs.

Mayweather has never fought older or faded opponents and his first time really was at the higher weight divisions and they just so happened to own legitimate belts and bring **** loads of money, but right afterwards he fights a prime opponent his age and size. Beats all of them with no trouble while Cotto barely gets past them. Almost getting his head knocked off by Corley, Torres, and Judah, and eeking a decision over a past his prime, 36 year old Mosley. Cotto has never beaten a prime fighter of equal age and promise, which is why they are ducking Paul Williams and his fans don't want to see that fight.

    Paul Williams owns Cotto.

Paul doesn't want any part of Cotto. He better just focus on the fight in front of him.

Other way around. Cotto doesn't want it with Paul, which is why he's calling Cotto out and not the other way around. Cotto is in no position to be putting his nose up at people who would kick his ass.

You gotta like what Williams is trying to do, become a HOF in no time, get all the belts by 2008 or whatever. I don't know about him spending Christmas in PR with his woman and kids in SC, I mean, unless he's ****in some fine local chick, that's a bit of over doing right there IMHO. This things take time and planning. My point is, he just picked up his belt, so now all of a sudden if other champs are not willing to fight him when he says so they're ducking him? GTFOH... I can see unification happening, but Geez, take it easy..
LOL it did'nt piss me off, i just stopped taking you seriously after that, i knew it was a wind-up. The thing I like about Williams is he beat a guy who no one was willing to fight at the time, he called him out and beat him, and now he is calling all the other champions at 147, He was supposed to Unify with Cintron anyway until Cintron had problems with Feliciano. The other two champs are Mayweather and Cotto and he calls them out every time.

OK, I agree with you, its a good thing, he's thinking big and let the big fights come. But that doesn't mean no one is ducking him if he they're not ready to fight him by the time he says so.

That message was'nt for you my friend, it was for those Cotto fans who say "Mayweather is running scared/ducking Cotto" when we know thats not the truth, Just trying to expose the double standards to those people.

? Cotto earned his position, or does that apply only to Mayweather as has been you stance since day one... Hypocrite.

Williams is a legend??? for beating Margarito? You are a casual boxing fan... I bet you just started watching fights in April. You are a union member too I see.

Yo, go feed the world...or read Oprah's biography. Do something really black today. Feel good about it. It's always all talk , marches and NO real action anyway, but stay off the boxing son. You suck at it.

Williams is definitely the future at Welter Weight after Floyd leaves. No doubt about it. He'll keep that belt warm while Floyd is on vacation, but hopefully he gets a chance. Arum rather chase Clottey (who lost to Margarito who lost to Williams) or Marg before they even dream about throwing Cotto in there with the lions. Or they rather chase a man who already stated that he was on vacation and look/wait for an easy pay day instead of trying to bait him the hard way by impressively beating such standouts as Paul The Punisher Williams. It's a game. They know that PW would rip Cotto in half and finish where a 140 pound Ricardo Torres left off.

Yes, he's earned a top contender ranking with Paul ranked rightly below. Now it's time for Cotto to stop ducking Paul and chasing lower contenders with losses, like Margarito and Clottey and get in there with a man most feel would probably tear his head off.

                    Williams is a legend???
Only as much as Cotto is.

As long as I don't do any thing "Hispanic", I'm sure somebody will listen, so good advice.
