But honestly do you think any of the UFC lightweights can take Mayweather out....

    Edgar Frank 7-0-0 5' 6" (168 cm) 155 (70 kg)
or Jens Pulver at 145??? he is the only fighter at that weight even....
Actually I think most of the top lightweight guys can take on PFB.

Sherk/Penn/Pulver/Franca are very bad matchup for PFB. Only the ones who's going to try to strike with him will lose. Don't forget that PFB isn't a 1 punch KO artist also so it doesn't help.

Out of a hypothetical 10 MMA fights...I give PBF 6 wins...

He might not dominate in the MMA but I think he could at least be a scrappy contender,,,,

Listen....this is a money play for Floyd to get involved in the BUSINESS end of the sport with his Mayweather Promotions and to do business with Mark Cuban.

If you had a new promotional company and a big name, and had the opportunity to do business with Mark Cuban, wouldn't YOU?

If you notice, Cuban says that he is "optimistic" that Floyd would "eventually" get involved as a competitive athlete.

Which sport Dios? MMA or boxing?

Also if Floyd ever did go to the UFC, to be honest I'd feel pretty betrayed. **** it's like Michael Jordan going to play baseball all over again. I think if Floyd does do this, which I don't think he will, it's a giant "**** YOU!" to boxing.

gotta go with boxing...i mean c'mon..it's not just rich with history .... it is wealthy with history....

              Ali vs Frazier
              the Rocky movies
              Joe Luis, SRR, SRL
              Barerra v Morales
              Pacquiao vs everyone
              Castillo v Coralles
              Leonard v Hearns

MMA will always be the distant cousin of the two bigger brothers of combat sports which are boxing and wrestling....the other **** is just that...bull **** ...except BJ Penn and his BJJ....the other BJJ followers can't get it right like the prodigy...but anyways...

UFC history is not close to rich yet....and once UFC gets close to being on boxing's level....Boxing would sprint to higher levels adding more glorious fights and rivalries along with big bank to the resume of the sweetScience.!!!

              what?!!

                repeat... THE BUSINESS END.

Floyd is not going to fight MMA. He has spent ten years telling you that he "makes the most money and takes the least punishment". This is a BUSINESS and PROMOTIONS play. Cuban and Mayweather are taking the temperature of the marketplace for additional televised and/or high-level shows.

Floyd lives in Las Vegas. UFC is essentially the "home team" for Las Vegas. Mark and Floyd see the opportunity to jointly develop a MMA brand.

Why are you guys talking about "floyd going to the UFC" when the article clearly discusses Cuban's fledgling promotional company.

They are seeking synergies for their own brands. Not to further build Dana's established brand.

Oh ok. Not which sport he was going to fight in, but what side he would promote in.

                  Though yeah, ok.

If any thing he would be invovled in M-1. How foolish is he to bring this up? I mean your not going to fight, so whats he going to do be a promoter of MMA?
