Roy Jones Junior, Aussie sparring partners

RJJ has some aussie sparring partners, Mundine and Solomon Haumono fly over to the US next week.

Bringing Haumono over there is a great idea. This guy is a massive hitter, and hes a heavyweight. So if there are any questions about his chin, they should be in tune by the time he fights Trinidad.

As for Mundine sparring him, well its going to be funny. They have pretty much the same style. Its like a fighter fighting himself.

So with Haumono sparring Roy, i can see his chin holding for this fight. And him getting the win over Trinidad.

Its good for Aussie boxing for some of our fighters to go over there, they will learn new things and hopefully develop some connections while there over there.

so you think getting punched on the chin repeatedly increases your chin stamina

well correct me if im wrong. Solomon is a heavy puncher for a heavyweight. If hes taking these in training. Its going to be a lot easier than taking punches from a normal punching light heavyweight or whatever?

        Solomon is a big puncher

A weak chin is not something you can improve on. Just like you cant get better at not getting conclusions. the only thing you can do is avoiding getting hit there all together. now if they are bringing in mundane and solomon so that roy can improve his defense, then in that aspect, yes, he can PROTECT his weak chin, just cant improve it.
