Contrary to various reports, Amir Khan (15-0, 12KOs) will not be facing EBU champion Yuri Romanov on Feb. 2 at the ExCel Arena in London. oh crap! 5 ko's from 19. This is a backwards step. Annoying. Very Annoying. Warren wants this to be an eliminator as well, so he is going to send Khan in in a years time with Katsidis who hits twice as hard than the accumalitive punching power of all of his previous opponents put together. Mistake.
It should have been Romanov and Thaxton. This is crappy. It doesn't benefit Khan at all for future fights.Comment

If the guy did not have a ranking, than we could say it is a pointless fight. However the guy is ranked #2 with the WBO, so it could be considered as a eliminator. Leaving him ranked just behind Peterson and Katsidis after he beats Kristjansen.Comment
