When Tito gets dropped he gets back up, when Roy gets dropped hes out for minutes, and with that said i think they both touch the canvas. I think Tito lands the left hook on good ol glass jaw for some reason. i cant see him picking Jones to come back against unless for some reason he saw something in tape or is just that focused, knowing what happend when he tried to comeback against Winky. No way can he be schooled like that again, so ima side with Tito

tito is out of his ****, the only way he beats jones is by lucky punch ko, or jones just hurts himself and can't fight right.

this fight is for money only, there is no reason these guys should be fighting each other, they're just using their names to make cash on all of us, plain and simple. there is no belt, there is no ranking, there is no real grudge, there is no point, both these guys are past their prime and both can only really fight each other, because any other fight out there with real competition they'd get handled.......................lame fight through and through.

now with that being said, tito thinking about fighting hopkins again, that is a joke, he knows that he isnt getting past jones, and if by some chance of divine intervention he does, he is going to get mauled even more the second time around from hopkins, even if hopkins fights and loses against calzaghe, which i think hopkins can beat but that is a pick'em fight and not of this topic.
but anyway, tito has either serious money problems, or he is delusional, which i tend to think he's out his mind. who knows, he might get lucky somewhere in his travels.........

Bro how can you not like this fight. Granted they are way way past their prime. However its still an entertaining match up. If they never met, 10 or 20 years down the road we'd all be like damn I wonder what would have happened had Tito gotten past Hopkins and got a shot at Jones. Well guess what we get to find out. Of course I'm not ****** but lets not forget that even as former shadows of them selves they are still formidable. Jones is still winning fights and even with Tito losing his last fight to Winky its not like Tito doesn't have a chance of landing a shot. **** Winky makes everyone look bad when he fights them. Tito always had power in both hands and I'd give him a bigger edge to win against Jones then I would Quintana beating williams anything can happen. Theres worse match-ups out there to be made. Whether Tito and Jones are doing it for the money or their own personal ideals of themselves and the desire for greatness this fight should have happened years ago. I'm just happy I get to see it and can put my imagination to rest.

no disrespect, but the fight is nothing, it means nothing, i wouldn't have a problem if tito had been active prior to the fight, but to come out of a stone cold retirement and try and make a mega fight ( so to speak ) it's bull mess, how competitive could tito be, from any logical stand point, it's easy pickens for jones, or so it should be, who knows, all tito has to do is land a solid shot on jones, but will he get the chance, i don't think he'll get a clean shot to take, personally.

the fight is for money and nothing more, to me it's an insult to mine and our intelligence as boxing fans, to think that we're that easily swayed into thinking that this fight has any importance, bull mess............

who knows, it could be the best fight ever, but i seriously doubt that.

I agree with you, and I hope more than anything we are both wronge. Tito and Roy both said its about their legacy and I pray they prove it. If it turns out that one mans fighting for the love of his fellow islanders, and another for the sake of his legacy then how can this fight be anything but a great fight. However if its all about the benjamins then I'll be the first to ridicule both fighters and hope that I never hear another word from them again. I just hope beyond hope that this is about unfinished business and they give the performance that we all have yearned to see from both of them for so many years. They were greats in their time and they both were loved and hated equally. Hopefully this will be the barn burner to set off the new year.
